Friday, we will be heading up to Lynn's Parent's for the day. ON the way, we are stopping off at Daniken Tree Farm. We've always passed by them everytime we went up, so this time will be different, we are stopping and getting our Christmas Tree for this year. Fun...

Fabulous Prize
I won tickets to the Blues Game from work. but it is not until Dec. 28th. That's a ways out, don't you think. I think I am coming down with another cold. I think I caught it Sunday raking Vesta's wet leaves, or maybe my family brought it down with them. I don't know.....
Had a good weekend with my family. I hope the weather lets up a little bit soon so we can get a chance to go downtown and see Macy's again. That is so great. reminds me of Christmas Story where they did that in Chicago. Oh well. I think Kevin saw it in NY in Home Alone 2 also, right?

A Macy's Christmas
My family is in town this weekend and last night, we all went downtown to the Macy's to see the window displays for Christmas. They had 5 window set up that told the story of "Yes Virginia, there is a Santa Claus", or is it Miracle on 34th street. I don't know. Didn't really read the signs. I was pretty cool. Best part was on the corner there was a huge train display that enthralled Nate for the longest time... It was fun. We'll have to go down again as a family to see it again.
Don't know what we are all going to do today. My nephew wants to check out Dave and Busters....

Thanksgiving

Think I might read this on Saturday to my family for the prayer. I got inspired by Linus from Charlie Brown's Thanksgiving. Although, he left out the "smiting the enemies" part.
Hope you all had a good Thanksgiving. We went to Lynn's Brother's and had a good time. Relaxing back at the house right now, my parent's are coming into town tomorrow for Saturday feasting.

Happy Birthday Jackson! (he's 6!)
Sunday was Jackson's birthday. we celebrated like we always do, went to 3 dog bakery and got him a treat. Santa clause was down there and Nate gave him a high 5. We'll have to remind Santa again when we see him that Nate likes High 5s.

Nate's First Picture
Today while I was out raking the yard, I put Nate in my car to play around with cause that is what he likes to do, and it keeps him occupied. Later, when I came out to drive the van somewhere, found an ATM slip and a pen on the dashboard, and this is what was drawn on it. Nate's first picture. Or at least his first picture he has taken the initiative to draw himself.

Our little chef....
Friends of ours let Nate borrow their toy kitchen for a while, mostly to give them a breather in their apartment to make a little more room. Nate just loves it. He pretend cooks with it for quite some time and Lynn and I can make "requests" for him to cook us up something. He even tries to eat the plastic cookie. ewwww.
Ready for the weekend. Going into this weekend with a bunch of eBay auctions ending on Sunday. Think I got too aggressive with this so probably won't get ANYTHING sold, except for two. I have faith that interest will pick up this weekend though.
